Construct button to view category pages after new listing submit

Hi Guys/ Alejandro,

For a particular project i want to change the pageflow after submission of a new listing. Instead of a button which redirects to the detailpage i want to create a button to redirect to the jreviews listings page.

I created a normal Listpages menu item which lists the category listings.

When clicked, it produces the next URL:

Now what i expected to see in the above URL is the itemID of the menu item i came from, as i have that enabled in the configuration settings:

With this itemID (the menu item ID) i wanted to construct the link back to the category listings overview. Am i thinking wrong? Is the above meant for something else?
I also tried to query the menu-params based on the jreviews 'link' field and 'catid' (as that one is present as URL param) but that becomes quite a work-around (i also do not have that working yet).

Any idea(s) ?
