I know you can filter by user but I'm thinking more of only allowing selection of a value if a field has a specific value (eg: a Yes / No radio for "include in related listing"). Basically we have two directories, let's call them Shops and Products. In the products directory we have a related listings field that allows the person submitting the product to associate a store with the product. This then determines what link is shown in association with the product. We don't want all of the stores to be used for this, instead we want to limited it to a smaller more specific selection. To simplify things for the person adding it we want to restrict the available options for the related listing ("Shops") to those that meet certain criteria rather than having the full list available and having to double check each time. (This isn't actually what we're doing but it's close) Link to comment
