Roland Furtmayr Posted February 1, 2014 at 05:58 AM Share Posted February 1, 2014 at 05:58 AM Hello, just played with the new JReviews SEF Plugin and after all I had to say: IT WORKS GREAT !!!!! :D :D :D I've three directories, dozend of categories and listing types. I use Jreviews for most part's of my homepage, as contact-information, in the news section, in the download-section and in a market-overview. Before Jreviews SEF Plugin I used a hidden menue for the categories (as suggested). Just a few hint's if you have a complex site and want to switch to SEF Plugin: 1. Make a copy of your life site 2. Make the new complete main-menue structure without hidden menues 3. Delete Hidden-Menue items for Categories 4. Update Jreviews Backend - Category Manager 5. Compare links from your live-site with the test site (category-links, detail-links, Tag-links) 6. Write 301 redirects for .htaccess 7. Test the redirects on your test-site 8. change live-site 9. pray :D Now I have a nice and clear structure. Thanks again for the great work! Greetings, Roland Link to comment
