[solved] Click2Search URL - how to setup like in your demo?

Hi,

if I use click2search in your demo, e.g. within City-Guide, the result will be something like this:

http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/search/tag/city/new-york?criteria=3

Question #1: How did you achieve this? I noticed that you did not make any changes to your jr_city-Field, as adviced over here:

http://docs.reviewsforjoomla.com/?title=Using_Joomla_Core_SEF

My default-settings lead to the following results:

a) click on "click-2-search" on a listing detail page (jr_city):

http://example.com/component/jreviews/tag/city/cityname/criteria:7/

b) click on "click-2-search" on a list page (jr_city):

http://example.com/directory/parentcategory/category/tag/city/cityname/criteria:7/

What I did regarding to SEF so far: I have setup hidden menue-items for my last-level-categories so that my URLs for listing details have the desired SEF format, e.g. http://example.com/category/ID-alias

Question #2: can I delete the "/criteria:{CRITERIAID}/" in the setup of the URL in the option of my customized field? The result seems to work: http://example.com/component/jreviews/tag/city/cityname

Question #3: I am also using a fields module. Again here your demo is state of the art and gets

http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/search/tag/state/california/

whereas I get something like this:

http://example.com/directory/parent-category/tag/city/cityname/dir:1/cat:17/

or even worse (on last-level-category)

http://example.com/directory/parent-category/subcategory/tag/city/cityname/dir:1/cat:23/

Any hint into the right direction is much appreciated!

Thanks!

BR,

Michael
