James A Posted July 20, 2011 at 10:53 PM Share Posted July 20, 2011 at 10:53 PM Hi guys, I worked on a site locally and everything was fine, but when I uploaded to godaddy (Linux), the images and thumbnails in the listing page and details page do not display. I am using joomla 1.5. After a days' effort, I figured it's time to ask the experts. Here's what I have checked so far: - images are found on the remote server under the images/stories/jreviews and tn folders - everything except jreviews images displays correctly. logo image shows but is founder under template folder - In reading suggestions on the web, I modified the remote htaccess.txt file to .htaccess and made sure the following was included: mod_rewrite in use RewriteEngine On Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteBase / Options -MultiViews - In joomla, I turned ON "use SEF" and "Use Apache mod_rewrite" - I checked mysql database and it shows that the links to the images are as follows: jreviews/image_name... Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks much! Jim Link to comment
