click2search URL consistency

Looking for some clarification on the click2search URLs.

jreviews 2.0.9.49 and sh404SEF build 232

I think I have a pretty good handle on the click2search URLs.

I know now to remove the ?criteria=1 (Field Manager, Advanced Options)

I figured out to remove the _mXX when links are generated in a fileds module (set the Itemid selection to none)

My question is about the difference between the URL generated from the field module and the click2search enabled field on the detail page.

Field Module Generates this URL:

/reviews/tag/type/cross-cut/

Custom Field on detail page generates this URL:

/reviews/tag/type/cross-cut.html

See the difference at the end of the URL? it is a "/" vs. ".html"

Any easy way to adjust one to look like the other?

Does not matter which, just looking to avoid duplicate content.

One thought is to manually create the module so that the URLs have the .html and do not use the field module to generate the links. This would be a little extra work but it would ensure that all of this type of link are the same.

All thoughts are welcome!
