SalesGorilla Posted May 2, 2009 at 06:19 PM Share Posted May 2, 2009 at 06:19 PM I have a menu item for the submission of a listing. When the listing is added, the generated sh404SEF link is http://www.dcguesthouse.com/guestbook/guestbook-entry-2009-05-02-104848.html and the real link it points to is index.php?option=com_content&catid=49&id=142&lang=en&view=article. Notice there is no menu itemid in the real link - so when the listing is displayed there is no breadcrumb trail or activation of appropriate menu modules. I am unsure if there might be any more serious consequence, but I have not found it. If one purges the sh404SEF urls, then prompts their recreation by listing the entries, the link is now fixed. The http://www.dcguesthouse.com/guestbook/guestbook-entry-2009-05-02-104848.html points to a real link of index.php?option=com_content[glow=red,2,300]&Itemid=137[/glow]&catid=49&id=142&lang=en&view=article. (137 is the id of the first menu item linked to jReviews .) Is there a work around for this issue or can something be added to the submit menu item for force the creation of the correct sh404sef real link? Link to comment
