J1.5 Core SEF not working for me

Hi, i'm getting frustrated because i can't figure out how to get any sef urls working with jreviews.  I'm working on a site for a friend and i can't get the core sef to work in j1.5.7 with the Jreviews 2.0.7.31 (edited).

I've also installed sh404SEF for native 1.5  and been unsuccessful with it as well.  In the instructions it says to override a file in the components tab, but that option isn't in the sh404SEF i installed so I take it that may be why i can't get them to be compatible

 

I'd really like to use jreviews with the core SEF but if I can't i'd appreciate info on how to successfully get the native 1.5 sh404SEF working.  My friend really needs to get his site online asap.
