Limiting text count of fields output on the listings module

I have a few listing pages which make use of the listings module, like this page:

https://www.hot-dinners.com/Features/The-best-restaurants-in-London/best-restaurants-in-soho

The text for each listing item showing here uses a couple of field outputs, which I've put in the "custom fields to show" section.

One of those is a specific field "jr_reviewsummary" (that's the long text). In this listings page, I'd ideally like to limit the field output/text, say to 100 words (or a character length). But when the user clicks through to the actual listing, I want the whole description/field contents to show on the listings page, e.g:

https://www.hot-dinners.com/London-restaurants/Soho-Fitzrovia-Covent-Garden/mountain-soho

So - on the listings module only, is there a way to limit the output from a specific field?
