Advanced search module: How do I turn off contextual category autodetect?

With the CSS theme you gave me for the search module my site is looking sharp, but I don't want the AJAX livesearch trying to autodetect results based on page content. For example if I search for Phenibut on these three different pages

https://www.limitlessmindset.com/resources/nootropic-ingredients 

https://www.limitlessmindset.com/nootropic-ingredients/864-phenibut

I get three different sets of livesearch results - which I don't want. I want the search function to simply cross-reference the listings by keyword in the article title or summary. In the module settings under BASIC FILTERS I set Category Auto-detect to No - so I don't know why it's still trying to display search results relevant to page I'm on.
