How to change colour of the button icons

Hi, 

I have tried many different ways to change the icon colours but for some reason they are not accepted, these are the classes I can't seem to change (follow and write review are ok):

jrIconFavorite, jrIconPlus, jrIconAddMedia, jrIconMessage

 

I have tried

span.JrIconPlus {color: #ffffff;}

.JrIconPlus {color: #ffffff;}

and a few other things but the colour won't change. What is the correct syntax for those particular icons?
