Unable to update via ACP on local server after Joomla 3.10.0

Hello,

Having an issue with updating jreviews on a windows 10 local server using wampserver. As per other threads and fixes I have the cacert.pem path established, the ports are accessible and all other extensions and joomla does update. The jreviews news & announcements do not show as well.

The only other thing I can think of is this local is not running SSL/HTTPS. Do I have to use https to update jreviews?

or windows defender could be blocking access somewhere that I'm not finding. There are different joomla/jreviews versions installed on this local and all have the same issue so it must be something with windows 10.

Any suggestions?
