New field not showing

I am doing something stupid I know. Have set up loads of fields in the past and never had this issue.

Set up a new field group >> set up a field under the new group >> associated the group to the listing type

Checked show in detail and list view.

Updated an existing listing and ticked the new field checkbox but nothing shows, in either view.

Also front field only shows up in backend editor and not the front end editor
