How to not show filter module on pages

Hi,

I have the advanced listings filtering module published to a category for cars and works fine but module shows on every page or link connected to the same category.

So if the url category is at: "/cars" when submitting a listing from the cars category page url the filter module still shows on the submission form page because the new listing form uses "/cars/new" which contains the category in the url. Same with other paths such as "/cars/new?plan_id=3" if using a paid listing menu item.

So how can I show the filter module only on the category and search results page url's and not other url's that may include the category? or how to hide the module on pages I don't want it to display on?

Sounds confusing eh!
