gerald Posted August 5, 2021 at 11:18 AM Share Posted August 5, 2021 at 11:18 AM (edited) Hello, Does JReviews take account of Google's guidance on qualifying links with rel="" attribute values? This has been implemented by Google and has been working since March 2020 but really starting to affect rankings now. See https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2019/09/evolving-nofollow-new-ways-to-identify In particular, "featured" listings in JReviews probably need a rel="sponsored" link attribute Any links to user generated reviews should have rel="ugc". Will JReviews incorporate the necessary code changes or is this something I will have to edit templates etc. to implement myself, please? Although Google states this applies to "outbound links" I think it might be prudent to apply these attributes to on-site links too.
