Create categories AND sub-categories with custom fields

Hello,

We are using a custom field as category selector, actually We have a list of 15 choices, we would like to convert those choices to sub categories and add 4 categories, this way if we select a sub category for a listing it will automatcally select the main category. Dont know if i well explained !?

 

Actually :

  • Cat1
  • Cat2
  • Cat3

We would like :

Main Cat1

  • Cat1

Main Cat2

  • Cat2

Main Cat3

  • Cat3
