General question regarding virtual categories and Advanced Filtering

As far as I understand the combination of virtual categories with controlled fields (to show only the fields needed) and using these fields in advanced filtering is not possible, right?

I wanted to use virtual categories (jr_type) for the type of organizations within 1 category. There are only a few differences on the submit form for the different types of organization. But the user should be able to filter for the different types of organizations. How should I handle this? Creating a listing type for every jr_type?
