Automated Alias Format

Sorry this is covered somewhere already.  I've searched I could not locate.

In "Listing Type">"Standard Fields" there is a configuration for Automated Listing Alias Format which can use customer fields.  

What is the syntax for setting up the alias if you want to include two or more custom fields?  Can this even be done?  ie>  ....someURL/catName/{custom_field2}/{custom_field7/{Listing_Title}   If this is doable, what happens if in this case there no {custom_field7}, the URL cannot have two "/" consecutively.
