Multilingual field names?

Hello,

Is it possible to have multi-linguality for field names?

For example:

We want to build a series of nested fields for location (country-state-city etc.) which will be used for many thousands of listing on our website.

However, those names (especially "state") are different for every country. So we want to use the same field (in the database) but shown with another name.

Is that possible?
