chris-1475802496 Posted September 8, 2018 at 05:58 PM Share Posted September 8, 2018 at 05:58 PM I am experiencing the following issues: 1. Joomla notice said PHP 7.0 will stop being supported, so I updated php to version 7.1 2. After updating to PHP 7.1, I could no longer access my joomla jreviews administrator page. The error was "this version of IonCube not compatible" 3. I asked Siteground hosting to update IonCube, which they did by modifying the php.ini file to include: zend_extension=/usr/local/php71/lib/php/extensions/ioncube.so 4. I am now getting this error message when trying to load Joomla Jreviews backend: Fatal error: The file /home/schoolt7/public_html/components/com_jreviews/jreviews/admin_controllers/my_controller.php was encoded by the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.6 and cannot run under PHP 7.1. Please ask the provider of the script to provide a version encoded with the ionCube Encoder for PHP 7.1. in Unknown on line 0 Is this a hosting problem? If so, what is the remedy and what should I communicate to SiteGround? If not, please advise - is this a bug in Version 3.1.1 (I am up to date with Jreviews) Thanks for your help. Link to comment
