TomH Posted April 14, 2015 at 01:58 AM Share Posted April 14, 2015 at 01:58 AM I was surprised that you can't seem to remove a custom field from the advance search since you can remove a custom field from most other views (ie Detail, List, Compare) For example take the demo site. The product listings have an "Online Store" Field Group and an Amazon Field that displays a button. There is no reason to allow searching on the field plus it confuses the user. I hope you consider this for the next release as it is rather important to me as a number of my fields contain html which I do not really want the user to be searching.
