Custom field image has no root domain set when shared

Hi,

 

I have set up a widget with only title and 1 custom field outputting a field value image.

On the administrator end the image pops up fine but when sharing the code the fieldoption image gets no base domain and therefore the image link is broken:

I wanted to use this setup of a custom field with multiple fieldoptions because different books get different widget output based on the award won. And because the field is set to show only to the winners no other people are able to get the widget.
