iReview 3.1.0 is out!

A new version of the iReview 3  Joomla template is available for download in the client area.

 

If you are upgrading from a previous version of iReview 3, backup the /templates/ireview3/ folder before the upgrade if you made any file customizations.

 

Important changes:

 

1) Mobile logo. Now it is possible to select a separate logo that will be used on mobile devices only, which should be useful to anyone that has a large main logo. Mobile detection will be used so that the large logo won't be downloaded on mobile devices.

 

2) Logo in topbar. There is a new setting where you can choose the position of the logo. Instead of displaying the logo in the header, you can display it in the topbar. Another option is to display the main logo in the header and mobile logo in the topbar.

 

3) New module position - topbar-right. Many of you had troubles displaying modules on the right side of the topbar which is a special module position that doesn't support layout classes. Now you can use "topbar-right" position to display modules on the right side and continue using the "topbar" position to display modules on the left side.

 

4) Different Mobile Detect module classes. In the previous iReview 3 release, if you used Bootstrap's "hidden-xs" class name to hide the module with css, iReview 3 would also use mobile detection to prevent the module from loading on smartphones. We changed this in iReview 3.1 because there are scenarios where you might want to only hide the module with css without using mobile detection. Now if you want to use mobile detection to prevent the module from loading on mobile devices, add an extra "hidden-phone" class name.

 

5) New settings to automatically move topbar modules and social media icons to slideout menu on mobile devices.

 

6) Fixed conflicts with latest JFBConnect v6.

 

7) Fixed conflicts with JomSocial.
