bryan choo Posted September 15, 2013 at 10:23 AM Share Posted September 15, 2013 at 10:23 AM Hey guys, Just wondering if there is anyone out there who is consistently able to rank in google with their listing pages. For my site, I get absolutely slaughtered in this department. Random blogs with low PA and of course the usual mainstay review directories like yelp outrank me heavily. In most cases, the pages appear only after page 5!! The only way people actually go to our listing pages on google is from typing some really weird string of longtail keywords, which gets picked up from the review text written there. And therefore it becomes a match for them. ----- My blog section where we make articles on the other hand has no problem ranking in google and is the top 1-3 matches. And I've applied the same techniques to both so I'm quite curious at the big difference and if there are any examples to look at of someone who successfully managed to rank their pages highly.
