Conflict Between JReviews plugin and Auto ReadMore plugin

When both are enabled on my site, the AutoReadMore plugin doesn't work. I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method String::truncateByWords() in D:\app\plugins\content\autoreadmore\autoreadmore.php on line 294

Fatal error: Call to undefined method String::truncate() in D:\app\plugins\content\autoreadmore\autoreadmore.php on line 275

The developer for the AutoReadMore plugin suggested that the JReviews plugin may be using the same class name. Any suggestions?
