PaidListings 2.4 Development Update #1

We know there are a lot of people who have been waiting for the release of the add-on for JReviews 2.4 and we thank you for your patience. We have made good progress in the past few weeks. The immediate objective is to allow everyone to upgrade as soon as possible, so other than incorporating the new media capabilities we don't foresee having any new important feature in the initial release.

The major challenge was re-writing the code so that paid plans would incorporate the new media features. For example when creating a new plan, there's now a media tab where you can specify the maximum number of each media type that a listing owner can upload. These limits then need to be read and set when submitting a listing and when displaying listings on the front-end. Not only in list pages, but in modules as well. This task is done.

We've been testing the add-on this past week and have found several bugs. We fixed most of them, but a few remain for next week. We also need to fix some UI issues and finish cleaning up the theme files and removing all javascript code from them.

Finally, we also started writing a Paid Orders Migrator add-on to make sure that once you migrate your site, the orders will already include the photo limit for your plans and we'll provide a way for you to set a default value for other media types.

We can't provide a definitive date for release, but it definitely looks like we are much closer now!
