We are working on several fronts at the same time and we wanted to give you an update so you are aware of what's happening behind the scenes. * We have been fixing all the reported bugs and also those we've found on our own. So far we've fixed at least 16 bugs. We still have a few important ones that remain to be fixed and users are reporting more via ticket. We wouldn't want to release a second Beta while we still have known bugs out there, so we'll try to fix all the ones reported so far before we release a new update. We also tied a few lose ends we had left for Beta 2. * We refactored and optimized all the front-end code for GeoMaps which took us most of last week and also fixed some reported bugs. For Beta 1 we had patched it here and there to make it compatible with JReviews 2.4. Now we've re-written most of the code to remove unnecessary javascript from the theme files and to make the it more re-usable and extendable. This will make it easier for us to add new features in the future. * We refactored all the front-end code in paidlistings to make it compatible with JReviews 2.4. We removed all the image related stuff that will no longer work with JReviews 2.4. Now we need to integrate the new media features which will most likely take a lot of work. We are not planning on doing this before Beta 2. * We've made some important progress with the upcoming version of iReview. We know a lot of you have been waiting for this version so we've worked in parallel with the other tasks to try to release it sooner.
