Why are nice urls hard to set up

On my site i collect reviews about sportareas over Europe. To structure the reviews i made different directories containing the sports. And categories wich contains the countries and regions.

At the moment i have about 160 categories wich a have all manually assigned to a menu item (jreviewslisting) to get nice urls.

I noticed that the url (and module assignment) of a singel listing "detail view" is not standard a part of the above jreviews category.

In order to get also i nice url for the single listing i need to assign each category to a menu item (joomla list/blogview)?!

If i replace the jreview listing menu assignment to a joomla list/blogview my categories will get a suffix _c### behind the category name.

If i use both menu assignments (jreviews / joomla list/blogview) in two separate (hidden)menu's i get categories without the suffix and  nice SEF for single listings and categories. But the alias of the main category can't be the same and i have to make, in my case, 160 extra menu assignments...

Do i do something wrong?

Anyway, it would be nice if single listings will be a part of a jreviews category (menu link). It's kind a strange that the nice urls only works for categories and not the single listings.

If you want to make a menu item for a jreviews category you must select a directory. It will be nice if only the categories belonging to that directory will be shown in the "select category"-dropdown.
