Duplicate pages problem

Hi

 

I had changed the title alias on my listings, but the old ones still come up with the old title alias, they are still active pages in the site, cleared out the cache after i had changed the title alias, but they still exist, google is showing duplicate meta tages for these items im assuming which is hurting my rankings, is there a way to get rid of the old ones entirely?

 

for example: old:  www.mysite.com/chef/vancouver-island/189-the-keg-restaurant-victoria-bc

                  new: www.mysite.com/chef/vancouver-island/189-the-keg
