About the claiming feature

In jReviews registered users can claim their listing. This is a very important feature for us when we will start monetize our site. There is a difference between claiming and signing a listing as verified. That's why we created a custom field (yes/no) called "jr_verified" which is only available for admins. When a user claims his listing (real world objects) we set it manually to jr_verified=YES. Until this point everything is ok.

Problems:

- The claim button still stays on the page (we could hide it with custom work of course) but a core function would be a nice standard feature for jReviews

- The claim popup shows only a textbox. Let us build custom fields for the claim popup form (telephone/email/contact person etc.) to verifiy the listing owner without any further steps

- Featured isn't the right option. An official verified option would let us filter for listings from (paid) listing owners to highlight their listings in different locations. Even a filter for displaying claimed listings would be pretty good.

- If we could distinguish between claimed and verified listings we could assign premium features to real world objects owners.

And so on.

These are only ideas. maybe I miss something. that's the reason why I want to know how other site owners handle that thing.
