I know last time I said it would be the last beta before RC, but we gave a time frame of 1-2 weeks for its release so we are still within that time frame :) This is a pretty good release candidate, but given that we have made many changes to the theme and still expect to make additional changes we are releasing it as beta 6. We expect to release the RC1 version next week as planned.

This version is now available for remote update and download in the client area.

The two most important changes in this update are:

1) Integration with Facebook Open Graph Protocol. We had some reports that the Facebook Like button in detail pages wasn't posting the correct image to Facebook and the only way to achieve that was through the use of the button's XFBML implementation which requires Open Graph. We had a head start thanks to Thomas who posted an Facebook Open Graph tutorial in tips & tricks a while back. The feature requires that you have a FB app id in the configuration and that the new Open Graph integration setting is enabled. We also added an object type setting in the listing types setup so you can choose from the many object types as defined by Facebook. If you use GeoMaps the integration will automatically generate the location tags as well. We'll be posting a bit more info on how to hack the code if you want to add additional tags based on your existing custom fields. Maybe later we can make this part of the configuration as well.

2) Lots of updates to the new theme. You really need to upgrade to see all the changes. We listened to some of the initial feedback to make some improvements and also added some of our own. More info below in the changelog.

IMPORTANT: You should still refrain from heavily customizing your themes because there's one final round of theme changes coming for the RC release. The most important ones are: bringing up to date the paidlistings theme, improvements for form styles, a dark theme and possibly one bonus theme with a more compact layout.
