JReviews 2.3 Beta 3 available for download

One week after beta 2 we bring you beta 3. We want to thank everyone that has submitted a bug and provide access to their site so we can fix them as quickly as possible. So far we have added 3 new features/enhancements and fixed 15 bugs. There are also updates available for GeoMaps and PaidListings specifically for JReviews 2.3.

 

If you already have a beta version installed you can use the remote updater to update to the new beta. Otherwise you will need to log in to the client area to download the latest version. In both cases you need to have a valid upgrades package to be able to upgrade.

2.3 Beta 3 - released Feb. 14, 2011

 

+New: Owner Reply to review moderation setting under Access Settings.

+New: Field Type filter in Fields Manager and SEO Manager.

+New: Handling of website field. New default regex accepts inputs with and without the url protocol (http, https, ftp, etc.) If the protocol is not included, JReviews will use http by default. Changes apply to old fields as well as long as the regex for those is changed.

!Changed: Updated feed thumb code in theme files to use the list thumb mode config setting

#Fixed: Each type of JReviews module only works once on the same page.

#Fixed: Previously created articles via Joomla editor do not show field groups in the administration unless saved first.

#Fixed: JomSocial profile links were using the profile menu Itemid from JomSocial instead of the Frontpage menu Itemid.

#Fixed: Form integrity validation issues with certain requests like listing management links, which prevents them from working.

#Fixed: Review feeds in category pages don't include reviews in children categories (J1.6).

#Fixed: Feed pages not rendered from cached files.

#Fixed: PHP notice in JReviews router.php for Joomla with some sef urls.

#Fixed: User list link in configuration, reviews tab, doesn't work in J1.6.

#Fixed: Issues with category list updates and paid fields in listing submit form

#Fixed: Everywhere integration issues with Joomgallery 1.5.6.3

#Fixed: Advanced search page: control fields not getting loaded correctly in adv. search page when toggling between listing types.

#Fixed: GeoMaps-related: When hovering over listing title the corresponding marker infowindow is not opened.

#Fixed: Reviews module: auto-detect not working for com_content.

#Fixed: Advanced search module: previously searched values not pre-filled/selected after a search.

#Fixed: Advanced search module: option fields not loading in adv. search module because the id attribute of the form is missing.
