How to set up category plans overview page using the "directories module"

Hi, I am a newbie to using Joomla and JReviews, so please forgive me.

 

I am trying to set up a category plans overview page as per the instructions in the paid listings add on documentation.

 

I was able to set it up for only one category at a time, but I'd like to set it up so that I will have only one category plans menu item. However, I don't understand the instructions about how to do this on page 20 of the documentation, item number 2 at the bottom of the page.

 

I'm hoping someone will be so kind to explain to me, step by step, how to set that up, or refer me to additional documentation that may help me.
