SalesGorilla Posted June 22, 2010 at 01:06 PM Share Posted June 22, 2010 at 01:06 PM Using Google Webmaster Tools, I am trying to address problems in my site in order to increase my search rankings. Most of the duplicate metadata problems I am having with JReview content results from Click2Search result pages. I have seen a forum posting about reducing duplicates by eliminating Criteria-ID from each field click to search and I have already done so a few weeks ago, and these errors seem to be slowly filtering out from the Google errors. I am now left with duplicate metadata errors resulting from URLs related to the sort pull-downs on the click2search result pages where da-media is one of the studios. .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderreleaseyear .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderalpha .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderauthor .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderrating .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderreditor_rating .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/orderrhits .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/page1/limit50 .../reviews/tag/studio/da-media/page1/limit5 How can I eliminate these duplicate metadata page errors? Can something be added to the template to make these titles and metadata unique or should a no follow be added to the sort field? Many thanks in advance. Link to comment
