Display of map on detail page after enabling tabs for listing view

I've enable a tab display for the listing view, but since doing so the Google map doesn't appear int he detial view. I'm using an un-altered geomaps theme. The issue seems similar to the one described on this page: http://docs.reviewsforjoomla.com/How_can_I_show_the_Map_inside_a_tab, but that applies to the default theme.

 

If I remove the change that I applied to the assets.php file to enable tab support fo rmy listing page the map shows up just fine.

 

Since I'm not using the default theme and am instead using the geomaps theme can someone point me to where I should apply the fix described in the above page? Or, a different fix?
