I got this from the Jreviews Newsletter :

New Paid Listings Add-on for JReviews: This add-on will enable you to easily monetize your JReviews site by charging users to submit listings, or to enhance their listings with more information or by making them featured. Like JReviews, we plan on making this add-on quite flexible.

 

Can this feature be

 

1) like google (adsense/adwords) : closed bidding for the top position, so there is no fixed fee, but only a minimum amount and the highest bidder gets the top position in the featured listing / enhanced listing.

 

2) Can the Amount be measurable - Cost Per Action like in Affiliate Marketing

 

Cost per impression , Cost per click

 

Cost per Lead : registration in the listings site / contacting the listing owner

 

 

 

These are for Jreviews Version 3 : I do not know what all mentioned below is planned for V3 ? It would be a dream come true to have all of them.

 

1) Awards/ medals in Jreviews (Jawards : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/communities-a-groupware/membership/266)

For listings

- Editors Pick Awards

- Reviewers Pick Awards/ Users Choice / Most Popular award etc.. ....

For Reviews

Most popular review, highest read review, .......

 

2) Jreviews as of now has a single My Favourite tab: It would be awesome if Users can create and name their own list 5- 10 /  unlimited -  wishlist, things to do, been there, need to try, favourite, hate list. eg : http://www.kaboodle.com/ 

 

3) Consumer Review bar , like Amazon.com rating-wise, number it (ie a user can choose whether he wants to read good reviews/ bad ones)

re-ordering can be done of good reviews on top and bad ones below..by user and admin.

5) Write to the listing owner/ claimer, if it has been claimed ( Write a Complaint to the Company, suggest etc).

 

6) Social book-marking - share feature so users can share : listings/ reviews in gmail, yahoo, facebook, orkut etc.

 

A lot advanced is : Drag and drop share and review : like in http://www.select2gether.com/ (video), ie users can click on listings and compare them together in the same page.

 

7) We usually would like to get an Opinion from a friend, whom we know than a stranger so : Can a feature like  Classify Reviews/ Listings from the friends in the community, ie When a user is reading a listing/ review, he knows if it is written by someone he knows (from friends in the community -Jomsocial/ Community Builder)

 

8) Open API's to integrate : Amazon reviews and ebay reviews.

 

9) It would be nice to have a contest tab , like the media feature, for users to take part in contests/ surveys..... or atleast to integrate such 3rd party software.
