Divya GS Posted March 11, 2010 at 12:28 PM Share Posted March 11, 2010 at 12:28 PM I would like a price comparison feature (online and local search) similar to : http://www.pricespider.com/aboutus.aspx, http://www.shoplocal.com/san+francisco/dental-hygiene.fp http://www.ebhav.com/BANGALORE/Banaswadi-Patel%20Kindergarden%20School/search/LCD%20Television/offline/LCD%20Television-EC029_cat In the demo in Jreviews: http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/ They have a database of local stores under city guide- shopping :http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/new-york-city-guide/shopping , there are 2 book stores , 2 sporting goods store/ toys and a database of Entertainment - books - http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/entertainment/books , there is 4 books Similar with products : http://demo.reviewsforjoomla.com/products/computers (lets assume there was sporting goods /toys here) I would like the city guide shopping to be linked to products, services, entertainment. I want a listing tool which will help link which products are available in which shops and which shops list which products. A shop owner should be able to list what products he has and a product manufacturer should be able to list in which all shops his product is available. So when a consumer searches for a particular product, he can see where all that product is available in his locality and also locate in on a map. Link between Product to amazon / price comparison and walmart (on geo-maps), local and online, Alejandro said : Build it via a plugin since it just needs the product ASIN or sku to bring the data from different sources and this number could be passed via a custom fields. Another developer said : You need to build this yourself using APIs to someone that provides the information for you to use. Would anyone be able to do this? Link to comment
