Bernienor Posted March 10, 2010 at 08:18 AM Share Posted March 10, 2010 at 08:18 AM Hi guys! Was wondering if anybody else have had this challenge. I'm using the map as an entrance point on some listings. (Example hiking spots and routes, that seldom have an address ^^). Aka I want the users to start with the map, and not text listings. Is it possible to have a function where you ; 1) right click the map to add a marker at that spot (a new listing) or 2) have a "Add marker" button that retrieves the center lon/lat of the current map view and pushes those into a semi filled submit form? Thirdly I'm also wondering if anyone have made a small hack to the "Map it" function. This relates to the "Map It" zoom level is very closeup (0,1 or2?) - and I use a custom "State" field to get a proximity of the marker - where I then need to Zoom out - drag the marker, Zoom in and re-place it. Is it possible with the Google API to have like a "right click" that resets the marker to the new lon/lat position of your mouse? Best regards Bernie Link to comment
