Question: Is adding a new listing based on current map position possible?

Hi guys!

Was wondering if anybody else have had this challenge.

 

I'm using the map as an entrance point on some listings. (Example hiking spots and routes, that seldom have an address ^^). Aka I want the users to start with the map, and not text listings.

 

Is it possible to have a function where you ;

 

1) right click the map to add a marker at that spot (a new listing)

 

or

 

2) have a "Add marker" button that retrieves the center lon/lat of the current map view and pushes those into a semi filled submit form?

 

 

 

Thirdly I'm also wondering if anyone have made a small hack to the "Map it" function. This relates to the "Map It" zoom level is very closeup (0,1 or2?) - and I use a custom "State" field to get a proximity of the marker - where I then need to Zoom out - drag the marker, Zoom in and re-place it.

 

Is it possible with the Google API to have like a "right click" that resets the marker to the new lon/lat position of your mouse?
