Window outside the map frame [SOLVED]

At the demo page I can see another style of displaying the info windows. The most interesting is the ability to show the window outside the map. How can I achieve that too? Is that a feature which comes in a future release or is that a hack I have to do?

 

PS: I don't want to modify too many files.
