GeoMaps module in thumb view?

I'm trying to use the Modules Anywhere plugin to load the GeoMaps module in a couple different views. It works fine and is loading correctly on a detail view, but the map isn't loading in the thumb view. I tested with the same module and settings. Is there something obvious I should be including in the thumb view so the map will display?
