The Art of Mapping It?

The automatic Google map positions are often a bit out of synch with real addresses, at least in my city.   So I am using the Map It function to correctly re-position.   The map now is correct displays the address, but the street view often looks down the street instead of towards the correct side of the street.    Sometimes it seems to work, but often not?

 

Is their an art to Mapping It so that the street view is pointing towards the address instead of down the street?    Is this issues perhaps related to the precision of the latitude and longitude?
