"(Special)" Pages - add Meta Description & "add listing" and "sort drop down"?

Hi I am using the (special) pages so i have better control over the meta title tag, however it is missing a few things that the category and section pages have. ie. meta description, add listing button when logged in, and a sort drop down. Could you tell me if i can implement these features.
