addaminsane Posted May 2, 2009 at 09:42 PM Share Posted May 2, 2009 at 09:42 PM i was just thinking a cool feature for jreviews to have eventually would be the ability to create menu links for top rated, editor or user, and make it only show the top rated for today, this week, this month, or this year. Top Rated / Lowest Rated / most reviewed / most popular - Today Top Rated / Lowest Rated / most reviewed / most popular - This Week Top Rated / Lowest Rated / most reviewed / most popular - This Month Top Rated / Lowest Rated / most reviewed / most popular - This Year Default Top Rated / Lowest Rated / most reviewed / most popular - All time Particularly for a review site which reviews some sort of service or item and people want to look at who is in the lead in reviews right now, instead of simply seeing accumulation of reviews over a long period of time. The date function could easily expand to most reviewed and most popular. The main benefits of this feature would be that you could add a new service to your directory and it could compete as a top user rated immediately. Obviously many, video tube sites have this feature. Just thought i'd bring that up as a feature that I think would add a ton of basic functionality to alot of people using the component Link to comment
