Show no pagination controls when they aren't needed

Hi,

 

Could I suggest a little modification on the pagination engine: When the number of items presented on a listing page is less than the minimum ammount required to start paginating the data, show no pagination controls on the page.

 

I tried to disable the pagination controls on my listing but I want to show all the possible items on the Category level so I need the pagination controls there but in other pages when I have only one or 2 items the page looks ugly to the user (nonsense).
