custom code for custom field

Wouldn't it be an interesting feature to allow the submission of custom code on the field creation. Let me explain. On field creation, you can customize a lot of thing in advanced options, perhaps if there was possibility to add code, people could create interesting things like by appending some

onchange="do my code"

kind of stuff. It seems to me that it is "just" a new field to create in the custom field table, That way, stuff like

xajax.$('title').value = xajax.$('jr_name').value;

would be handled in the administration and not in the files anymore which seems much better...
