Steven Koontz Posted January 12, 2026 at 02:23 AM Share Posted January 12, 2026 at 02:23 AM Since switching to AWS for my email hosting I have been getting frequent abuse reports from people who left comments on the site years ago, 2017 being the oldest so far. I previously used RackSpace and I assume they also have a way to see email reports but I never looked in to that. They probably just forgot they ever posted or can't find a way to de-activate email notifications. Note that I am on JReviews 5 and am using the EngageUsers add-on as well. Is there a way to see who is subscribed to what and remove their notifications on a user-by-user basis? I guess the best way to deal with this is to block their user account in Joomla. Would that prevent them from getting more email notifications? I ask because my site has been spiking in traffic and comments/reviews and these users are getting email notifications for every new comment/review posted. Thanks! Link to comment
