Auto populate related listing custom field

Hello, 

i am using related listing feature accross my website, i have a central category called directory, listings here are central element which is connected to all other listings (events, articles, etc.).

Every time a person add a listing he should choose his company from this related listing field, a better workflow can be an auto select or add into this field, 

i am open to any other trick to enhance user experience on this point !
