Is is possible to change the display of the fields in the advanced filter module?

Hi, 

I want to use the advanced filters module as the sole search function as think it is way more powerful. In keeping with the rest of my site I want to display it at the top of my pages (as the search module currently does) in horizontal layout in a very simple layout. 

I wondered if it was possible to use a different display of the fields. If you look at the attached image it hopefully demonstrates what I mean.
