Alejandro Posted April 19, 2022 at 07:30 PM Share Posted April 19, 2022 at 07:30 PM I am very happy to announce the release of the first stable version of JReviews 4. Thanks for taking the time to test the beta and RC versions and in some cases for being brave enough to use it on your production site! Before you Upgrade Read the JReviews 4 release notes, especially if you are upgrading from a previous version. To avoid unnecessary stress, make a backup and test the upgrade on a development site before upgrading your production site. Since every site is different and not all scenarios can be replicated in a dev environment, so there's potential for additional bugs to be found. Please report them via support ticket and provide site login and ftp access securely using the site credentials functionality. JReviews 4 Compatibility JReviews 4 is compatible with the latest versions of Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 and WordPress. JReviews is compatible with PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.0 (PHP 8.1 has not been fully tested yet). Since PHP 7.4 will stop receiving security updates later this year, it is recommended you start switching your server to PHP 8.0 because JReviews will also drop support for PHP 7.4 as soon as possible. JReviews 3 End of Life JReviews 3 is now in maintenance mode and will only receive bug fixes until September 30, 2022. This also includes all add-on versions that are specific to JReviews 3. For example, MyLists currently has JReviews v3 and v4 specific versions. So the v3 version will no longer be maintained after September 30, 2022. Starting now, active development of new features will be only for JReviews 4. PeterD, Macjoomla, Ansen Sligar and 4 others 7 Link to comment
