Guest Jezz Posted October 6, 2006 at 10:33 AM Share Posted October 6, 2006 at 10:33 AM This is more like a "possible feature discussion" Rather than an actual request. ( Think it would be a huge task ) I was thinking it would be great if jReviews was "currency aware" and some functions similar to that of a shopping cart. Basically the editor could set a base currency for the site, and then add other currencies with there conversion rates. With details on how they should display, eg dollar sign, pound sign etc.. When a new item is submitted, the user would enter price and select the currency type as well. And these would be stored in the database as is. Then with some mathamagics jReviews could search and sort properly by price regardless of the type of currency. Plus maybe the listing could have a dropdown list to change/convert the displayed currency for the user with some fancy Ajax. PS. this is just an idea, no need to yell at me ;) Link to comment
